Who can take part?
Anyone and everyone can hold a Brilliant Breakfast and you can invite whoever you like! Friends, family, colleagues or clients - everyone is welcome. All you need to do is choose the location, send your invites and start planning.

How do I hold a Brilliant Breakfast?
Your breakfast can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish - it's all about getting people together and raising funds for The Prince’s Trust, so that we can help young women get jobs, earn qualifications and find the all-important self confidence that will give them a brighter future. Put simply, hold your Brilliant Breakfast and encourage your guests to donate!

What do I have to do for my Brilliant Breakfast?
Once you've confirmed a location and invited your guests, you just need to decide what you're doing for breakfast. From simple tea and toast with friends and family at home, to a full-English extravaganza with your team - anything goes! Dog walks with a cuppa, hosting a panel event at work and even hiring space in a café, we’ve seen it all. And that’s what makes your breakfasts truly brilliant, just remember to ask your guests to donate!
Do I receive any resources to help me plan my Brilliant Breakfast?
Yes, we have provided lots of resources to help you plan and fundraise at your breakfast. From invitations to table settings, to creating your own food flags, bunting and fundraising QR codes – we have it all!
Fundraising and QR Codes
Is there a minimum donation?
No. Everyone is welcome to join in with The Brilliant Breakfast and no donation is too small. To become a Partner of The Brilliant Breakfast, see the Partner Hub for donation information and the benefits of joining our female focused community.
What happens to the money raised at my Brilliant Breakfast?
The funds raised through holding a Brilliant Breakfast help The Prince's Trust provide training and support to get disadvantaged young women into employment or education. With your support, we can give disadvantaged young women a brighter future.
How do I fundraise?
Simple, hold a breakfast and ask your guests to donate. Create and share your fundraising page when inviting your guests so that they can donate before the day. You never know, those who can’t attend may still donate! If guests want to donate on the day, you can easily share the link to your page or have a printout of your unique QR code ready to scan and make a donation.
How do I create a fundraising page?

How do I share my fundraising page?
The sharing options change depending on whether you access on a computer or mobile phone. Head to your fundraising page and you’ll find the options to share underneath your profile picture. Click your preferred option to open a new window containing your shareable link.
How do I edit my fundraising page?
Log in to your JustGiving account and click 'My Page.' If you're on a computer, the option to ‘Edit Page’ will appear to the bottom left. If you're on a mobile, it will appear just underneath the picture at the top of your page.
I’ve lost the link to my fundraising page. How can I find it?
You can log in to view your page by clicking the ‘Log In’ option on the website menu. JustGiving also sent you this link when you first created your fundraising page. Let The Brilliant Breakfast team know if you need further help.
How do I create a QR code for my fundraising page?
We have provided instructions here. You can print the code and display it at your breakfast to encourage your guests to donate.
My guests want to donate by cheque. Is this ok?
Sure! Please make any cheques payable to 'The Prince's Trust' and write 'The Brilliant Breakfast' on the back. Send to:

How do I handle cash donations from my guests?
We suggest you pay any cash donations into your bank account and donate the amount to your fundraising page. This way it contributes to your total and we can celebrate how much you've raised.
I can't hold a Brilliant Breakfast this year but would still like to donate, is this possible?
Sure! Click the Donate button to the top right of this page. We encourage you to share this link with your friends and family too, you never know – they may also wish to donate!
One of my guests is unable to attend but would still like to donate. How do they do this?
Send them the link to your Brilliant Breakfast fundraising page so they can still donate.
Can I tick the Gift Aid box on JustGiving?
Only personal donations are eligible for Gift Aid. If you're paying on behalf of someone else, a group of people, a company or have had a chance to win a prize, this amount is not eligible for Gift Aid. You can read all about Gift Aid here.

Is there a video I can show my guests to tell them more about The Brilliant Breakfast and The Prince's Trust?
Yes, there's a Host Video on the Resources section of our website. You can play this at your breakfast or even send a link to your guests in advance as a handy reminder, whilst also letting them know a bit more about The Brilliant Breakfast and the work of The Prince's Trust.
Can I share my Brilliant Breakfast on social media?
Absolutely! Please share your Brilliant Breakfast photos and stories on your social media, tagging @TheBrilliantBreakfast and including #TheBrilliantBreakfast. You can find social posts to share in the Resources section of our website.
Merchandise
Can I buy Brilliant Breakfast merchandise?
From late September Waitrose will again be selling their Brilliant Breakfast tote bag, with a 10% donation from the sale of each bag being donated to The Prince’s Trust. You can also use one of the templates available in the Resources section of our website to make your own food flags and bunting.

How do I register as a Partner of The Brilliant Breakfast?
Sign up by completing the Partner registration form and a member of our team will be in touch. If you have a Prince’s Trust Account Manager, pop them a message to let them know you’ve signed up so they can welcome and support you properly.
What support is available?
As a Partner of The Brilliant Breakfast, we’re with you every step of the way. Whether a new or existing Prince’s Trust Partner, you will be assigned an Account Manager. You’ll also receive an event pack full of lots of content to help you plan your event. Additional content is also provided on our Resources page. We’ll even send you a monthly Partner email between registration and event week, sharing hints and tips to help plan your event, as well as information on the impact of your donation.
How do I access content for my workplace breakfast?
Partners of The Brilliant Breakfast receive an event pack full of lots of content to help you plan your event. If you’ve already signed up and haven’t yet received this pack, let The Brilliant Breakfast team know. Additional content is also provided on our Resources page and through monthly Partner emails between registration and event week.
I’ve already donated to The Brilliant Breakfast. Can I also fundraise?
Of course you can! Many of our Partners do both, however there is no obligation. We’ve seen lots of additional ways to fundraise, including employee fundraising, donating a percentage of product sales, event ticket sales, raffles, cake sales…the list is endless! To help make fundraising easy, you can create a fundraising page for people to share. You can even create your own unique QR code too!
